  Headed To Cornerstone Festival...

  

  We're back from our trip to Birmingham, AL for City Stages festival, a couple live TV show performances, interviews & more...

  Every day was humid and nearly 100˚ - probably the worst weather I could imagine. Regardless, we had a great time, and are looking forward to more shows in Birmingham & the rest of Alabama.

  Next stop for us is Cornerstone Festival in Illinois. We leave early next week and will be there all week. We're doing 2 shows there, one of which is a regular show (see our tour schedule for info) & the main event is the "official" Everything Burns Showcase. If you're going to Cornerstone, make sure to come to the EB Showcase on July 4th, Encore II stage.

  Also if you're going to be there ake sure to get your "EB" Armband - we're partnering with Compassion to raise money to help prevent kids from getting Malaria. A $10 donation will help keep 1 kid from contracting the disease. And any donation more than $2 also recieves a FREE EB Armband. (*See the Everything burns FEED to check out a picture of the EB Armband.)

  We're excited to announce that Everything Burns will be at 2009's Cornerstone Festival in IL, USA! We're going to be doing an "Official" Everything Burns Showcase, featuring SHIROCK & other bands.

  We're partnering with Compassion (www.compassion.com) for the duration of Cornerstone Festival, and we will be selling $2 "EB" armbands to raise money for Everything Burns & Compassion.

  
  If you're at Cornerstone this summer make sure to get your EB Armband! We will have them everywhere and it's a really easy and effective way to start "Living For Things That Matter."

  On May 9th we will had the first Everything Burns Garage Sale! Thanks to everyone who donated their clothing, instruments, electronics, etc... We raised over $500 for Everything Burns!
  
  

  Also a special thanks to Rachel at
  CREMA (the Nashville coffee shop) for donating coffee, and to everyone who helped out pulling the whole event together!
  
  

  All of the stuff that was donated to EB was then sold during the garage sale. All of the money will go towards finishing the Everything Burns Website - www.everythingburns.org

  We're excited to announce that Everything Burns has been approved by the IRS as a nationally recognized non-profit organization! That means that we can officially begin taking donations to help get the whole EB Movement off of the ground.
  
  

  We're really looking forward to what this year has in store for the band, EB & Irock Clothing. The new EB site (www.everythingburns.org) will be launching in a few weeks - stay tuned.

  We were in Austin, TX for SXSW (South By Southwest) and we used the time to help spread the word about our "Everything Burns" Non-Profit Organization!
  
  

  We made about 600 of these armbands/headbands, and set up a table right in the heart of the craziness...within an hour they were all gone and there were hundreds of people walking around SXSW with Everything Burns armbands on! People were really excited about the organization and hearing about the idea "Living For Things That Matter."

  Pap & I (Chuck) are in the early stages of some new Irock designs. These new designs are for our fall Irock line - we'll have some jackets, hats, shirts, gloves & bags. We're hoping to get into some jewelry as well, but haven't started down that road just yet. Check it out, and we'll keep you posted where you can pick up your Irock Clothing!
